March of Dimes Re-Launches Online Community -- Share Your Story

In a recent post, blogger and online community specialist Lee LeFever outlines the creation of the March of Dimes' Share Your Story online community, launched in spring 2004. LeFever recounts the challenge of creating a online community that would work (a rarity), and of a recent re-design and marketing campaign to build participation.

Today, "Share provides a platform for parents to share information and support one another. There are now over 7,000 members. The most recent version of the community includes the ability for each member to have a blog, which has added a fascinating and well-adopted dimension to the community’s toolset. "

Learn more about the Share design, build and marketing story from LeFever's blog.
